NanoLyteTM HV Electrolyte is for high performance: improving energy density, cycle life, and temperature range of li-ion cells charging to high voltage. NOHMs’ functional ionic liquid forms solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) that protects high voltage electrode from reaction with the electrolyte.

Improved High Voltage NMC Chemistries

Nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) cathode materials are used in li-ion battery for EV. NMC stores 25% more capacity when charged to high voltage. However, today’s electrolytes have limited voltage and temperature stability.

NanoLyteTM HV Electrolyte extends cycle life and high voltage stability. 17 Ah pouch cell charged to 4.35 volts improve 45oC cycle lifetime more than 200%.
